Films: The Ogre's Times


The Ogre's Time is a modern fairy tale depicting the tough life of office workers and the glimpse of hope that a simple mail man can bring to people by just writing anonymous letters.

Produced by JP-Morgan and Euroclear bank in Brussels , this short film was shot in 2000 with a micro budget and non-professional actors. The result was a surprise to David, who considered this project as an exercise to see how a non-dialogued script would look on the screen.

Shown in numerous festivals across Europe, it was finalist in different contests and it won the 2002 Best Short Film Award at the Film Festival of Zalla , Spain .
